Students who participated in Pursuit Institute programs last school year reflect on how their experiences have better prepared them for the next step, whether it be college or working directly in the field. They also give advice for others who may be considering joining the program.

TPI Program: CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) and CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Tech)

“Participating in these programs gave me a head start for college and allowed me to gain valuable knowledge that I will use in my future career! I think if you are considering doing it, you absolutely should. You will lose nothing but gain many valuable resources! You will win no matter what. I am currently a freshman at Ball State University studying radiography. In the future, I plan to work as a medical imaging specialist.”

TPI Program: Education Professions Program

“I have gained so much hands-on experience with students as well as college credit to help prepare me for college and a future teaching job. Advice that I would give is that it can be so much fun, as well as useful, with so much experience and information that will help you post-graduation. As long as you make it a two-way street and continue to interact with your program, you will be in good shape! Currently I’m a senior at Noblesville and completing the capstone of the Ed Professions program. I hope to attend Ball state and become a special education teacher.”
