February is Career and Technical Education Month, and we are excited to spotlight Hamilton County’s CTE District, The Pursuit Institute, along with some impressive state-level statistics!

• There are 70 Programs of Study across Indiana
  • 63 offer 9+ Dual Credits
  • 47 offer Long Term Certificates
  • 36 offer Short Term Certificates
  • 42 offer Industry Certifications
• In the 2023-2024 school year, over 253,000 students enrolled in nearly 390,000 CTE courses across the state. Impressively, over 91% of graduating seniors took at least one CTE course during their high school years.
• CTE enrollments in 2023-2024 saw an increase of more than 11% from the previous school year.
• 58% of students who take the first course in a CTE pathway continue to take additional courses in that pathway.
  • Among students who take 3-4 courses in a CTE area, 48% go on to attend college and 62% gain employment.
  • 10% of these students are employed while attending college.
