CIVIL CONSTRUCTION CAPSTONE

The civil construction capstone is a culminating experience in a civil engineering or construction management program. It involves students applying their knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems or complete a substantial construction project. This capstone serves as a bridge between academic learning and practical application, allowing students to
demonstrate their readiness for careers in civil construction. Students will be placed at
companies where they can incorporate their
skills in projects such as: project planning,
design, budgeting, construction management, and, ultimately, the successful execution of a construction project. The capstone experience
helps students gain valuable hands-on experience and prepares them for the
challenges they will encounter in their
professional careers.
