COSMETOLOGY

Cosmetology offers an emphasis on practical
skills and theories including roller control, quick styling, shampooing, hair coloring, permanent waving, facials, manicuring business and personal ethics, and bacteriology and sanitation. Intensive laboratory applications are a required component of this course and may be either school based or on-the-job or a combination of the two. The State of Indiana requires a total of 1500 hours of instruction for
licensure, and students may qualify for examination upon completion of the 2-year program.
