DIESEL SERVICES – HEAVY EQUIPMENT
The MacAllister Techinical Scool (MTS) Heavy Equipment Program for high school students is designed to prepare candidates for the 11-month MTS experience by providing technical training and work based learning. In the classroom, students learn the basics of commom equipment systems (electrical, hydraulic etc.) In the shop, students practice their skills on real equipment and learn how to work as a member of the team. Leadership skills and classroom fundamentals are built through a series of hands-on exercises and work readiness testing and are followed by hiring to ensure each student’s fit in MacAllister Machinery’s high performing team based culture.

- Principles of Diesel Technology
- Concentrator A – Diesel Steering and Brakes
- Concentrator B – Diesel Transmissions
Year Two
- Diesel Services Capstone
Completion of year 1 prerequisite for this program. This program is in-person and online. Please contact your counselor for more information or to enroll in the program.
